Call for Judges
You are invited to participate in the judging of a Mobile Content Awards for September 2009. As a judge, you will evaluate entries based on information and market initiatives that have influenced the mobile content industry. The main focus will be on technical, creative or commercial innovation, best use of mobility, ease of use, quantifiable business benefits, proven success in the market and achievement of original objective.

Tony Riley
Mobile Industry Pioneer; CEO & Founder Mobile Enterprise
Tony Riley is widely recognised as one of Mobile’s original pioneers. In 1979, as Commercial Head of Marconi’s Private Mobile Radio Systems, Tony developed and launched System 4 Radiophones; the predecessor to Cellular Communications in the UK. Tony then joined Racal Telecom (to become Vodafone) in 1984, pre-launch, and spent much of his career in Vodafone Value Added and Data Services as Commercial Head or Commercial Director.
Tony has been heavily involved with the original development of Mobile as a Media Channel since the mid '90's and was central to the development of commercial models for SMS ('92) and subsequently 2.5 and 3G for Vodafone Group.
During his career within Vodafone Group he held a number of Directors roles including Vodafone Value Added and Data Services; Paknet; Vodafone Multimedia Ltd; and Vodafone Ltd. Tony has a broad management background covering multiple disciplines including Product Management for Non-Voice and Value Added Services, Corporate Data Business; Third Party Business Development; and Channel Management.
Tony was one of the earliest visionaries in the Mobile industry to recognise the power of Mobile as a Media & Advertising Channel.
Tony is now CEO and co-founder of Mobile Enterprise, a business intelligence and market research company providing behavioural & contextual analysis of mobile customers.
Tony is a UK Board member of the Mobile Marketing Association and is an active champion amongst industry and trade associations evangelising how to establish Mobile as a true Media Channel
Frederic Dumeny
MD Fast Forward & VP of Business Development Adfonic
Frederic Dumeny is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Adfonic, a self-service mobile advertising platform. He is also the Managing Director and Founder of Fast>>Forward, a business development consultancy serving the European Internet market.
Until May 2009, Mr. Dumeny was the Head of Sales and Business Development in Europe for Motricity, a mobile content solution provider, where he was responsible for launching and developing Motricity's business in Europe.
Since founding his Internet company more than 15 years ago, Mr. Dumeny has been involved in every new forms of web innovation. His interests in the last 10 years led him to the mobile internet market in Europe, where he has worked for companies ranging from small start ups to large, international companies.
He leaves in paris where he is co-founder of the Mobile Monday & spends most of his time in airports witnessing and participating in the mobile innovation.

Brendan Benzing

Brendan Benzing is a seasoned media and telecom executive. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Brendan has been on the cutting edge of developing and defining interactive experiences across three screens – mobile, television and the PC. His unique experience and perspective tied with his passion and zest for solving complex problems makes puts Brendan at the forefront of the industry. As one of his former employees once stated , “ There is no eye to ‘Brendan’s’ cranial hurricanes.” In his current position as Senior Vice President of New Product Strategy for Motricity, Brendan is responsible for defining the company’s product strategy for its industry-leading mobile services platform. Brendan also serves as a spokesperson for the company and has been interviewed by and quoted in leading industry publications such as ding RCR Wireless, Wireless Week, MocoNews, Seattle Times and others. Brendan joined Motricity through the acquisition of InfoSpace Mobile. He joined InfoSpace in 2005, bringing a wealth of local, search, directory and interactive expertise from nearly a decade of experience at AOL. Brendan also serves as an advisor to AdInfuse, a start-up enabling the personalization of mobile advertising. He is a graduate of Drexel University and lives in Seattle with his wife Cindy.
Michael Neidhöfer

Michael has co-founded Netbiscuits and serves the company since 2000 as CEO. He is one of the true first Mobile Internet pioneers in Germany and today one of the most experienced individuals in the mobile market and a valued industry voice as speaker. He is overall responsible for the Netbiscuits Strategy as well as Sales and Marketing and successfully grew the business to a market leading software company serving + 200 business customers and major brands such as eBay, Yahoo or AOL. Michael started his professional career working for an large UK based company where he was head of IT in Germany and project manager for international software projects in Germany, UK, Spain, Switzerland and Sweden. Michael is active member in mobile market shaping organizations such as MMA, MEF, CTIA, BVDW and inMobile. Michael holds a degree of Master of Business and Engineering of the University of Kaiserslautern.
Anuj Khanna
Director, Mobile Data Association & Founder of Wireless Expertise
Anuj is recognized as a mobile payments expert and is the author of five globally published mobile industry books.
Anuj is the Director for the Mobile Data Association representing over 100 mobile services and software companies in the UK. Anuj is also the founder of Wireless Expertise which is a specialist wireless services consultancy.
Over the last 10 years Anuj has worked on commercial payments and messaging services contracts with over 100 global mobile operators across 30 countries. Anuj has immense experience in implementing mobile payment services and has recently worked on embedded payment projects with leading handset vendors.
Anuj has been in the wireless industry since 1996 and has previously worked in senior roles with leading mobile industry brands including Hutchison Telecom, Netsize, Tanla and Dialogue Communications.
Anuj’s expertise lies in growing technology start ups into the most successful companies and implementing new mobile products working with mobile operators, payment providers and digital content publishers.
Anuj is a industry pioneer and appears regularly as a telecom industry commentator in the international media. Anuj also chair’s the Indian Telecommunications Industry forum which has over 1000 corporate members.
Anuj is a MBA in Marketing from The University of Sheffield and holds a BA in Economics from The University of Bombay.
